Unfriendly Fire

Andrew Wilson on the Think Theology blog has written another article reflecting on the Strange Fire conference that is definitely worth a read by all who have heard, read, or discussed anything regarding the Strange Fire conference and the comments coming out from it.

In his conclusion he writes…

In many ways, it’s been a sad week for evangelicalism. But if we respond wisely, as many have, there are plenty of ways in which the fire of God will increase, rather than diminish, in our midst. “And the God who answers by fire – he is God” (1 Kings 18:24).

May the true results of the Strange Fire conference not be that of divisive, over exaggerate claims and counter claims but a heart of loving discussion, understanding and a greater passion for unity within the body of Christ.
